The ALEKO AR2000NOR Sliding Gate Opener Starter Kit is a heavy-duty automatic opener designed for residential, commercial, and other sliding gate applications. It features a 120V AC, single-phase motor with 2 HP equivalent power, providing strong starting torque and continuous operation.
The opener supports sliding gates weighing up to 2,600 lbs. and measuring up to 59 ft. in length. Its corrosion-resistant aluminum alloy chassis keeps the unit durable while remaining lightweight enough for one person to carry and install. The kit includes 20 ft. of gear rack, supplied as six 3.3 ft. sections.
A built-in radio receiver supports up to 100 remotes, with user-programmable and erasable remote codes. RF hopping-code technology helps protect against unauthorized access to remote signals. The system also provides automatic closing, pedestrian mode, manual emergency release, and obstruction protection.
The motor and drive system are immersed in lubricating oil to help reduce operating noise and extend transmission life. The opener operates on 120V AC with an operating time of 0–44 seconds.
