The lock automatically locks and unlocks as the gate opens and closes, helping keep the gate securely positioned during operation. It is recommended for gates over 7 feet long and is particularly useful for animal enclosures or areas exposed to high winds. A manual release key is included for convenient access when manual operation is needed. The lock is compatible with most 12V swing gate openers but is not compatible with ALEKO AC/AR 1400/2000 series gate openers.
